ABOUT PEAK PERFORMANCE TRACK CLUB
Peak Performance Track Club is a premier track club in Australia that provides coaching for athletes. We focus on Queensland, with specific support for regional and remote athletes. Our club provides coaching and athlete support, facilitating them to reach their potential. Head coach, Wal Plath - a former international 800m runner - leads our team with a wealth of experience and expertise in track and field.

PPTC runs coaching in Cairns, Innisfail and Townsville. Wal also offers coaching to athletes from far-flung locations to help ensure high-quality coaching for all.

PPTC COACHING
At Peak Performance Track Club, we offer comprehensive coaching programs designed to enhance core strength, technique, fitness, competition training, and mental approaches. Our programs cater from beginners to elite competitors. However, to join PPTC you must be committed!

CORE STRENGTH
Our training works to engage and develop the core strength of each athlete. This helps with running technique, speed and the prevention of injury.

Speed and power
Over the training season, the club works to develop the speed and power of the squad. No matter the event, dynamic speed and power assists each athlete to stay fit, be competitive and reach their potential.

MENTAL APPROACHES & FUN
PPTC works with athletes to support their outlook and emotional development for competition. We don't believe in pressure - we believe in fun, and enjoying the process. The right physical training will get the job done.
